To mitigate the social, educational, and economic consequences of pandemic in Italy

Salesian Solidarity with Italy: the Emergency Response to COVID-19. La risposta del VIS, Salesiani per il sociale Aps e CNOS-FAP all’emergenza COVID-19 in Italia

As Rev. Augustine Baek, Executive Director of U.S.-based partner Salesian Missions expressed:

“We are grateful to the U.S. Government for supporting this critical project in Italy, which has been hard hit by the virus and has a struggling economy made worse by the pandemic. Salesian organizations have rallied together across Italy to help mitigate the challenges and worsening conditions of poverty for those they serve. This is an example of yet another collaborative project to assist those most in need through education, psycho-social support and delivering direct relief materials.”
